Sergio di Stefano

I'm a retired primary school teacher living in Urbino (PU), Italy;

 for more than eight years, I have been trying to make the walls and the monuments of the city, for the restoration of which millions of euros have been spent, enjoyable to everyone.

Given that since 1988 Urbino has been “World Heritage” and, as such, belongs to all of us, and considering that, as explained in “The Urbino Unesco Charter”, the monuments and sights must be not only conserved but also rendered accessible to all, I’m addressing citizens, associations, entities, of the whole world in search of:

 a signature, a letter of approval or an e-mail, urging the responsible authorities (ministers, mayor, superintendent and public prosecutor) to make the paths on and around the walls enjoyable to everyone: from Porta Valbona to Fortezza Albornoz, from Porta Santa Lucia to Porta Lavagine, doing away with extant administrative torts and the unauthorized buildings described in the Santese Report registered in the acts of the Court of Urbino.

I'm trying also to ensure that the responsible authorities open the Fortezza Albornoz and the convent of Santa Chiara.

I thank in advance everybody who is willing to help me to further this civic struggle as I think that, together, we could be successful.
